TIARA'S PRIORITIES

White Glove
Customer Service

I believe every resident deserves to be treated with respect, urgency, and care when interacting with government. The Recorder's Office should feel welcoming and not overwhelming. I will prioritize timely responses, clear communication, and seamless experience, whether you're accessing services online or walking through the door. Every interaction should reflect professionalism, efficiency, and a commitment to serving you.

Government should be easy to work with.

Modern & Accessible Services

I will work to modernize the Recorder's Office by expanding online access, improving digital tools, and simplifying processes. My goal is to remove unnecessary barriers that cause confusion and delay. I will allow e-recording where possible and maintain in-person service where needed. By identifying gaps and implementing practical solutions, I will create a Recorder's Office that is proactive, organized, and responsive to the needs of Polk County.

We will work for YOU.

Protect Property & History

I will protect both the property rights and personal histories that matter most to our residents. This is not just about documents. It's about safeguarding homeownership, preserving family records, and maintaining the history of our community for future generations. I will ensure accuracy, security and accessibility of vital records, I can help families protect what they own, protect their fundamental rights and honor where they come from.

Protecting property means protecting people.

Responsible Use of Fees

I will be a careful steward of taxpayer dollars by prioritizing fiscal responsibility in every decision. I will work to streamline operations, to reduce unnecessary costs, maintain transparent budgeting practices and regular review spending to ensure every dollar is used effective to deliver high-quality services. Responsible financial management protects the integrity and reliability of the office.

We will do more with what we have.

I had my kids when I was 22 and I am so proud to be a mom. But I can't image what that process would have been like if politicians like my opponent were in my doctor's office, policing my health and my decisions. I know that politicians shouldn't be involved in the intimate and complicated decisions that families have to make. My opponent voted for the extreme 6-week abortion ban in Iowa and also voted down protections for health of the mother and for children under the age of 12. This is out of touch with what our community believes and is not reflective of the people he represents.
